Michael Van Waas is a Los Angeles based photographer and light director. Spending much of his first two decades growing up in Italy and traveling the world as a professional ski bum, Michael found a passion for photography later in life. Crazed by lighting, he focuses on bold yet minimal compositions as he explores the chaos which creates the most genuine and organic imagery.
